Digital
Landing pages, email drip campaigns, and other multi-step digital experiences that go beyond a one-time send—all built on HubSpot. This page covers what that looks like and how to start one.
What counts as a digital brand experience
This page covers process for:
- Landing pages
- Email drip campaigns
- Multi-step lead funnels
- Resource hubs or mini-sites built for a specific initiative
- Anything involving lead capture, tracking, or a multi-touch sequence
Use the regular Creative Process for any of the following:
- QuickTakes
- One-time dedicated emails
- Single social posts or graphics
- Anything that's a single send, not a sequence or ongoing page
Where content lives
The AHG website
Forward-facing. Built for the public: prospective families, press, donors, prospective charter organizations. It's not intended for member-only content.
AHGfamily
The primary platform for member-facing information. This is the default for anything aimed at current members.
When AHGfamily can't support what a project needs (e.g., multi-step forms, a drip sequence, gated resources, custom tracking) that's when it makes sense to build the experience on HubSpot instead, even if the audience is members.
Start with a conversation
Set a meeting with the Content Marketing Manager and the Director of Marketing & Communications to talk through the specific need, the CTAs you want, and what a successful outcome looks like (before any building starts!).
Request a Planning MeetingSpecs to lock in before requesting a quote
Bring these to your Concept Meeting so the design team can nail down the specs in one pass.
Common print products
Before it goes to print
Always request a proof
Catch color, cropping, or typo issues on a proof, not on a full print run you can't take back. *Note that AHG errors found in print often result in a $25/page charge from a printer, so the in-house editing and approval process should be airtight!
Build in extra lead time
Plan for more than the vendor's stated turnaround—shipping and last-minute revisions eat into the timeline fast.
