Fonts
Gotham is AHG's primary typeface for headlines and body copy on marketing collateral, chosen for how well it pairs with the logo and for its legibility. Arial is the secondary typeface, used internally and for email correspondence.
Our branded font mix is 90% Gotham, 10% Arial and Arial Narrow.

Decorative fonts
Currently in use: Radith and Hello, mainly for Program Year Theme logos. Decorative fonts are chosen at the Design Team's discretion per project and change as typography trends do—a past Program Year Theme font remains available for reuse if it fits.
Staff outside the MarCom Department should not use decorative fonts without Design Team approval first.

Heading & Body Copy Treatment
This is the standard for print and marketing collateral.
Headings
Set in all caps. Use Black or Ultra weight on the key word(s) of importance, then Bold or Medium caps for the rest of the sentence.
A drop shadow is often applied to the Black/Ultra words, and sometimes to the whole headline.
Linking words
Small connector words (e.g., "to," "and," "but," "of") break the all-caps pattern: set them in caps and lowercase, or lowercase only, using Book or Book Italic.
Body copy
Caps and lowercase (normal sentence-style casing). Bold the key words or phrases that matter most to the organization or that should catch the reader's eye (don't bold everything!).
Secondary & ancillary copy
When there's a lot of copy under a heading, set the secondary line in all caps, Book or Medium weight.
Anything after that (e.g., fine print, disclaimers) goes back to upper and lowercase, at a small point size.
Gotham is always preferred. If space is genuinely too tight for it, use Arial Narrow instead!
