Strategy

Brand platform

The brand platform is the strategic foundation of our story—who we are, and what we want every girl, parent, volunteer, and charter organization to know us for.

American Heritage Girls exists to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. Every resource, page, and photo we put out should trace back to that mission.

Brand personality

These traits describe who AHG is in every interaction—use them to keep tone and imagery consistent across a girl resource, a volunteer training, or a nationwide campaign.

The AHG Brand Filter

Before messaging, visuals, or a marketing experience goes out to members or non-members, we run it through these questions.

1

How does this represent the idea of “unfolding” (discover and pursue)?

2

How does it honor scouting or exemplify the scouting methodology?

3

How does it show we offer something for every girl?

4

How does it reflect our commitment to Christ?

5

How does it demonstrate opportunities to learn, serve, lead, and grow?

6

How does it celebrate wonder? What would make it more fun?

7

How does it nurture relationships or reflect that?

8

How does it exemplify how we encourage adventure?

9

How does it make the reader/listener feel a sense of belonging?
